A move is more than putting things in boxes. D&M Faithful Home Transformation provides packing services in Boston and the South Shore that start before the first box: we help you decide what to bring, prepare and pack your belongings, organize boxes by room, and then unpack and set up your new space so it works from day one.
We help residential clients as well as offices and businesses. Based in Marshfield, our team does the hands-on work while your moving company handles transportation.
Before the Move
Decide What Comes With You
We help you sort belongings and decide what to keep, pass on, donate or discard, so you only pack what you want in your next home. If there’s a lot to work through, our home decluttering services are a good first step.
Plan for a Smaller Space
If your next home has less room, we help choose belongings that fit the new layout. Our downsizing support covers this in more detail.
Prepare Donations
We separate and prepare items for donation. When appropriate, we can make smaller donation drop-offs that fit in a car. This is separate from moving your household belongings, which your moving company handles.

Packing by Room
We pack agreed belongings in an organized way, grouping items by room or purpose and labeling every box so unpacking is straightforward.
Packing Supplies
Packing supplies such as boxes, tape and protective materials may be purchased separately. We’ll discuss what you need before the project begins.
Special Items
If you have fragile, valuable or unusual items, let us know during the consultation so we can discuss how they’ll be handled. Specialized packing and crating are arranged with your moving company or a specialty provider.
Keeping Essentials Accessible
We set aside the things you’ll need during the move, such as clothing, toiletries and daily supplies, so they don’t end up buried in a box. We recommend keeping medications, important documents and irreplaceable valuables with you personally throughout the move.
Coordinating With Your Movers
We prepare belongings for pickup and coordinate around your moving company’s schedule and instructions. Transportation and any specialized moving services remain the responsibility of the mover.
Unpacking and Setting Up Your New Home
Many people know they can hire movers, but not that they can hire a team to unpack. We unpack boxes, arrange kitchen cabinets, organize closets, set up bedrooms and make your new home functional, so you’re not living out of boxes for weeks.

We start with what you need most, such as a working kitchen, a ready bedroom or clothes put away, and build from there.
Room-by-Room Setup
We unpack, group belongings and put them where they’ll actually be used, setting up kitchens, closets, bedrooms and storage around your new layout.

Unpacking is the best time to decide where things should live. Our professional organizing services help create systems that keep the new home working.
Working With Moving Companies and Real Estate Professionals
We work alongside moving companies and real estate agents to make each move smoother. Our team handles sorting, packing, labeling, unpacking and organizing, while your moving company handles transportation. Real estate professionals are welcome to refer clients who need help getting ready to list, pack or settle into a new home.
Office and Business Moves
We provide professional packing services for offices and small businesses, including labeling, organizing supplies and files, and setting up workspaces at the new location. We coordinate with your commercial movers, who handle transportation.
Senior Moves and Helping a Parent Relocate
Moving later in life often means leaving a long-familiar home. We work patiently with older adults moving into smaller homes or senior living residences, respect their wishes, and keep them involved in decisions. We help choose what to bring, pack it carefully, and arrange familiar belongings in the new residence.

Questions About Packing and Unpacking
Can I book packing or unpacking separately?
Yes. Some clients need help only before moving day, only after, or both. You can book help for an entire home or just selected rooms.
Do you supply packing materials?
Packing materials such as boxes, tape and protective wrap may be purchased separately. We’ll discuss what you need before the project.
Do you transport my belongings?
No. We are not a moving company. Your mover handles transportation; we prepare, pack, unpack and organize. We may handle small, car-sized donation drop-offs when appropriate.
Do you help businesses?
Yes. We pack, unpack and organize offices and small businesses.
How far ahead should I contact you?
As soon as you know your likely moving date. More notice gives us more scheduling flexibility, but we may be able to help with last-minute moves depending on availability.
